#BlackExcellence - Diddy And Jay Z Collaborate To Create App For Black Business
Music business moguls, Diddy and Jay Z, are reportedly working on a project which is believed would be of great benefit to black-owned businesses. In a recent interview with GQ, Diddy revealed that he and Jay are in the process of creating an application that will make it easy to find black-owned business across the United States.
The BAD BOY Records CEO made it clear that the app won’t and shouldn’t stop black people from shopping at other places. However, it would help black businesses grow as it would be a platform for promoting them.
Here’s what he said:
‘This is not about taking away from any other community. We’ll still go to Chinatown. We’ll still buy Gucci! But the application will make it possible for us to have an economic community. It’s about blacks gaining economic power.’
Although no official date has been announced for the unveiling of the application, it is already being highly anticipated as the next big thing for the #BlackExcellence movement.
